Comfort when it matters most

The Hospice Journey

When you or a loved one is faced with the need for end-of-life care, Hospice of Davidson County is here to help you find comfort every step of the way. Our focus is helping hospice patients manage pain and symptoms while providing spiritual and emotional support for patients and their families.

Referral and Admission

Referral and Admission

Referrals can be made by anyone once it has been determined that the individual has a limited life expectancy - typically six months or less. Call 336-475-5444 to refer yourself or a loved one and begin the admission process.

Holistic Hospice Care

Holistic Hospice Care

We will provide exceptional care where you are most comfortable, whether that be at home, in an assisted living or nursing home facility, or at our inpatient Hinkle Hospice House. Our RNs, CNAs, doctors, social workers, and chaplains will ensure you are taken care of physically and emotionally.

Family Grief and Bereavement

Family Grief and Bereavement

We support the family just as much as the hospice care patient. Grief counseling is provided for 13 months after the loss of your loved one. Counseling can be provided in your home, virtually, or at Hospice of Davidson County.
