Two Eagle Scout Projects

Aaron Springer, a member of Boy Scout Troop 200, First UMC Lexington, completed his Eagle Scout project in August.

Hospice of Davidson County has been very fortunate recently to have two Boy Scouts complete their Eagle Scout projects here on the Hospice of DC campus. In July, Logan McDonald completed a prayer and meditation labyrinth for patients,
Thanks to his efforts and a generous contribution from Woodmen of the World, Hospice of Davidson County now proudly displays the stars and stripes of the American Flag in front of the Hinkle Hospice House. HODC volunteer, Parker McLendon, was a great help in facilitating this project.
The Board and staff are proud of Logan and Aaron for successfully completing their projects and recognize how they enhance our campus and provide added comfort for our patients and families.
On September 11, a flag dedication ceremony was held with staff, volunteers, fire and rescue personnel, law enforcement, and government officials in attendance.
